The Battle of The famous have officially started!

100 CUTEST FACES FASHION SHOW YEAR 5 GRAND LAUNCHING - January 17, 2015, Saturday in Sm Masinag, the top 100 fresh faces for this year's 100 Cutest Faces Fashion Show have officially strut their stuff on the runway during the grand launching event. Year, after year, after year, Trends Classic Models International have never failed to make the launching of their new batch of cuties magnificent, bringing new potentials into their wonderland of fashion expertise.

I was able to do a little after-show ambush interview with some of our aspiring models, and I really had fun with it. The venue is amid with a little shaky feel, but the models I have interviewed made me feel like I am just casually chit-chatting with them. That's how amazing they were. Here's the top 2 questions that I've asked them:

Why did you join the show? 

Generally, they just simply want to have fun and enjoy the whole experience, and of course, to meet new friends. Most of them already have some background in modeling, but you will not really see them with that "I am Sasha fierce, and I am the Best" attitude. They are still humble and happy to be a part of the show. I was also amazed by one young man when he told me that he's been doing some modeling stuff just for his studies, before he even joined the competition. That means that he is helping not just himself, but also his family. 

All of them really want to become a model. And I find it ethical, in some way, that they are in the show not really to compete with each other, but to gain experience and be molded by the TCMI team. It is cute that few of whom I've interviewed were just joined by a friend, and still pushed through the auditions because they also dreamed of becoming a model.

Friendship, dream, fun and experience (or to gain experience), bonded together and helped our new batch to be in and stay in the competition. 

What will the people expect from you?

This is where the answers got rumbled, but nevertheless, stunned me. 

At our new batch's young age, they all have simple answers yet some adults can't even give it to themselves, and it is to inspire. Their answers were mixed up with (not exactly as they have quoted); "I feel that everyone is great, but I will bring a good fight", "expect me as the humble one (probably the one who will ease you with it)", "I am unique and I will do my best to show what I got", "my smile will put the light in the show", and a lot more. But all of them really want to inspire us. Inspire us with their dreams, with their passion and with their journey. 

I think, I would need to take back what I've said about this batch being "aspiring models", and I will. For me, they already are models, even before they became a part of the show. Just them having the guts in joining the 100 CFs already makes them models. 

Now that the battle have started, it is time to choose your bet, follow their journey and show your support. Because this battle will definitely get fiercer, and even more fiercer. Updates about the likes poll will be posted next week after their Denim Challenge Fashion Show:

Who Will Be The Next Famous Face? 100 CUTEST FACES YEAR 5: The Battle of The Famous

POTENTIAL - Probably the biggest factor that Trends Classic Models International (TCMI) is looking for in every aspirants joining the 100 Cutest Faces Fashion Event. Since 2010, TCMI never failed to look, mold and expose the maximum potentials of every young talents who are making it to the cut. The big 3 of this team namely as: Sir Jhay Layson (The Style and Managing director), Sir Randy Escobar (The Creative Director) and Sir Lester Colico (The Director), have been trying their hardest to be an immediate channel and effective instrument for their talents to realize their long time dream. From potential, to making it a dream for them, and finally making it materialize. That is how they yearly work on this prestigious event. 

You see guys, the 100 Cutest Fashion Show is not just a normal models-walking in the runway-posing in front of the camera-dressing up like mannequins fashion event. It is way beyond than that if you really know how they work together on this event. So as far as my memory can remember, let me tell you the noble story of what is behind the curtains of this show. 

First, of course, is the auditions. They will look for young individuals from ages 12-25 years old, and finally select the top 50 males and top 50 females. After that, the top 100 will undergo in a day of photoshoot, purposely for their teasers and profiles. And then the launching, it is where our selected faces will finally walk the runway for their first exposure. This is where the fun part comes in, the molding weeks. Our potentials will now be trained by TCMI coaches, and sometimes by guest coaches. They will be trained not just to be a model, but also to develop their personalities and confidence. While being molded, they will also be exposed. The journey of our young individuals will include different exposures on prints and TV ads and shows. And the final big exposure for them is the Gala Night, where all of them will show how much of a talent they have grown into. This is also the night where they will mostly be discovered by special selected guests from the industry of the famous. After the Gala Night, the finalists will be chosen and will again strut their stuff in one final show. And yes, after the long journey, one male and one female will be the top faces of the one hundred. 

I think it's not really the winning that will matter the most, but the whole experience that transformed our potentials into talents. It is not all the time you will find an event like this where you can be guided freely by legitimate fashion authorities. But unfortunately guys, the cut is already off. Because tomorrow (Jauary 17, 2015), TCMI, with their noble goal and together with SM City Masinag, Taytay and Marikina, will officially launch the selected potentials. VIKTORIA MODESTA: The new Lady Gaga with a twist?!

SOME OF US WERE BORN TO TAKE RISK - #BornRisky, that is Viktoria Modesta's hash tag for herself. The new Lady Gaga with a twist, the bionic pop star, the amputee diva, whatever you call her, Viktoria is definitely on her way to the limelight. But who she really is? Let's take a quick peek...

Viktoria Modesta Moskalova is a Latvia/Btisith singer-songwriter and model, born on February 25, 1988. Her left leg got its problem due to the negligence of the doctor who handled her birth. And in 2007, she actually volunteered to amputate her below-the-knee leg, so she can have a better mobility. Since then, she was known for challenging the norm of beauty despite her physicality.

She started her modeling career when she was fifteen. She appeared on some big magazines (Bizarre and Skin Two), and also attended different high fashion shows.

Her name became even more heard when her nude portrait by James Stroud was featured in National Portrait Gallery, London.

In 2002, she took a 1-yr course for vocal technology at London Music School. With what she learned back then, she started her career in music shortly after her operation. She performed on several fashion and club events internationally like Milan Fashion Week, Harpers Bazaar (Brazil) and Instyle (Russia). She have also collaborated with some legendary music artists who were withdrawn to her eccentric attitude.

Famous in the UK, and is now ready to be the new superstar worldwide. I guess Viktoria will know no limits anymore.

GUY LOSE ON A FOOTBALL BET: The result is hilarious!

WILL YOU BET AGAIN? - Have you ever got lost on a bet in your life? And did you regret why did you bet in the first place, and felt ashamed of your punishment? Hmmmm, but this guy probably has the most embarrassing lost on a bet that I have ever seen.




Lost on football bet, Chuck Jose was forced to re-enact the full video of Sia's "Chandelier". But I wanna say; "WOWWW!", because Chuck literally killed his version, and it was awesome!

AN ALL-STAR CHRISTMAS SPECIAL MUSIC VIDEO: Do They Know It's Christmas?

A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL COMEBACK FOR THE BLOG PRINCE - In a studio in London, famous music superstars have come together to record a new version of Band Aid's charity single; "Do They Know It's Christmas?". Coming 30 years after the original Band Aid, the said recording aims to raise funds for the fight against Ebola.






One direction, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, and a lot more other artists dedicated their time and talent for free, just to create this heart-warming video. The UK government also decided to have the VAT be waived on the single, to help the said fund-raising.

"GOD ONLY KNOWS": COVERED BY A DAZZLING CAST OF ARTISTS!

Corbin Davenport didn't just wonder about it, he literally combined the two thoughts, and run Windows 95 in his Samsung Gear Live. Well, the smartwatch is not really running Windows 95 as an operating system; rather, it is running a DOS emulator called aDosBox, which is then to run Windows 95. It is available for android devices for free.
